Sweet Seat for Greenville’s Children’s Museum

It has been such a busy fall/winter/new year!  Lots of projects finished up with some more in the works. One of the latest was a bench for the Greenville Children’s Museum. A number of artists were commissioned to paint a bench that will be auctioned off at a fundraising event; then the bench will be in the museum for a year before going to the new owner.

The inspiration for my bench was the Toddler’s Lily Pond area — ’cause you know I just love painting those animals! It featured turtles on a log in a pond on the front of the bench and two fish on the back. My original design had three turtles on the log, but I had a little extra room, so I added one more baby turtle just for fun.
